De Vere Blackpool Golf Club

One of the prestigious De Vere championship golf clubs, Heron's Reach in Blackpool was designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clarke and features testing water features on twelve of its eighteen holes. Ten man-made lakes and rush-filled meres - featuring all sorts of wonderful wildlife - dissect the fairways in several places and consequently heighten the challenge of playing there. Sprawling over 236 acres of beautiful Lancashire parkland, it measures 6461 yards and has a par of 72. Its practice facilities are also comprehensive and state-of-the-art, offering an eighteen bay floodlit driving range, chipping area, putting greens and much more besides. Trolley and buggy hire is available, as are lessons for all standards of player from the club's professionals.
