Chorley Golf Club

Established since 1897, Chorely, with its magnificent old clubhouse building, is a challenging and scenic 18 hole course with some of the finest views in Lancashire. Excellent restaurant and bar with all the clubhouse facilities you would expect from a private club make this a popular venue for visitors and societies small or large. The short par four 17th is a tight driving hole. The fairway bunker on the left can catch a good drive down the middle and the green is also well protected. The fifth is the hardest hole on the course. The two fairway bunkers are poised to catch longer hitters while the fairway runs from right to left. The best line, then, is towards the right hand bunker. A tip on your second shot - it's further than it looks!
