Duxbury Park Golf Club
Set deep in the Lancashire countryside, with views of the local countryside and far beyond, Duxbury Park Golf Club is a fine place to while away a leisurely morning or afternoon.
It is set on wooded parkland, fine terrain to challenge the ability of any golfer - whether high or low handicapper - and sprawls through the landscape for 5843 yards. This makes it by no means the longest golf course in the area, but the standard scratch score of 70 certainly gives you a good indication of the challenges that lie in wait for you.
During the week, classes are available from the club pro for anyone whose game needs some work.

Cracking Course
Duxbury park is a great course, despite it being a municipal. The fairways are green, short and well maintained and the bunkers actually contain sand.
The only downside to the course, at the moment, is the condition of the greens :( They are in desperate need of some grass and a good rolling.
